Recap on my situation and my film

-So I graduated the animation program, with honors, and was the recipient of the silver medal. The silver medal is awarded to the student with the highest GPA in the program.

-I have sent my film to many film festivals around the world and I am glad to say that it was accepted into the Air Canada EnRoute film festival. Passengers of Air Canada flights will have the chance to view my movie on their personal TVs on all flights in the months of October and November.

-I also just finished my 5 week contract as bg layout artist at CUPPA COFFEE so that's why my site has been a little "dry" lately.
I am currently looking for work as BG layout artist and concept artist.

New things

As of this instant I've finished all my rough animation. I have a couple of small changes that I need to make to some of my scenes but nothing major.
Here are some of my recent layouts that I've painted on in my "extra" time.

An update

I have been working hard on my movie. Although movie seemed like an incredible mountain that I had to climb I can finally see it's summit! I'm almost done all of my rough animation and it looks better than I imagined. Well here are some "new" drawings I painted, but they are only new to the blog.

Maria Grazia Painted

So here's the final of the painting of Mario's wife.

A new Picture of Maria Grazia

I got a lot of great feedback from teachers and fellow students on the picture of the wife. Most people feel that she is posing too much and it doesn't look natural and cute. SO here's another picture I was thinking of using.
Comments please! What do you think?

4th year movie poster - A Cut Above

So here's the poster for my movie. I don't want to give to much away.

My 4th year movie

I've been thinking alot the this summer on what kind of movie I'd like to make in my 4th year at Sheridan. I believe that the barber story is what I should go with for now although I wanted also to make a short story on Christ. I don't think the audience would want a religious and very important story to be put up with other shorts that have alot of college humor. We'll see what my mentor thinks when I meet him or her. Here's a concept sketch for the barber movie.
