As of this instant I've finished all my rough animation. I have a couple of small changes that I need to make to some of my scenes but nothing major. Here are some of my recent layouts that I've painted on in my "extra" time.
**UPDATE** After I got some awesome feedback from my classmates and Mark Komza, I decided to fix some little things on the layout and the character. Thx Guys for your help!
I haven't put up anything that has to do with my action analysis, so here's the first pic. I'm working on the animation but this is the coulour scheme I'm going with.
I decided that I wan't to do a zoom in to the castle for our layout assignment. So this is an initial rough. I'm probably going to break it all up into pieces and move them apart to give the illusion of depth.
Here are some drawings from art fundamentals. My teacher back then was the great Tigh Walker, great guy and very inspirational. As you can see we kept things fun and challenging at the same time designing totally different scenarios. We also had more time for each assignment. The questions comes to mind when analysing the animation program, is it better to have quality or quantity? I'll leave you to answer that one. Hope you find them fun..
My first day at home on my reading week. I have tons of things I need to get through this week so here's the first one out of the way. A pan BG assignment done for layout class and even though I had already done it in my animation assignment I decided to rework it and make it a little more complicated and colourful! Hop Scott and Mark will like it.
Here's how I approached the layout assignment assigned by Scott Caple and Mark Comza painted in photoshop. We had to maintain the original design that Scott gave us. I thought it would be fun to paint it with these "happy" colours since it's a typical happy american family. Hope you like it.
